More Spooky Fun! by Donna Gray

Hi everyone,

Donna here today with another spooky creation……..haven’t you seen a spooky bunny before then?!

What I Did:

The background is a Gelli print made with DecoArt paints on a sheet of watercolour paper. The circles were achieved by drawing them freehand out of some thick card and placing them on the Gelli plate, the other effect was from some sequin waste but you can use bubble wrap too if you have that.

So now I needed a bunny so I used the one I designed for Rubber Dance, I stamped him on a piece of Strathmore paper and coloured him in with a green and a purple Distress Marker, I fussy cut him out so his head was just visible.

Now of course I needed a body and a witches hat for him so this is where the Tim Holtz ephemera came in very handy as the skeleton was from there and the witches hat was cut from a witches head!!

I adhered it all to the background, popping the bunny head on a couple of foam pads to make it stand out.

I then drew a little spider hanging off one of his whiskers, added a couple of spooky sentiments from Tim Holtz and then went around everything with a charcoal pencil to add some depth.

Mount onto black card and then white cardstock and there you have a spooky bunny for Halloween….BWAHHHHHHH
