Flutterby by Donna Gray

Hi everyone,

Happy 2017 to you all, it’s Donna here today with Tim’s big and beautiful butterfly.

What To Do:

To create the background for this card, lightly brayer several different shades of DecoArt paints directly onto a piece of Strathmore paper, dry, then spritz a couple of shots of DecoArt Media Mister, blot slightly with a kitchen towel to absorb some of the colour then set aside to dry.

Randomly stamp on the background with a circular Pima stamp using black Archival ink.

Stamp the butterfly onto white card and then colour with Spectrum Noir pencils, using the blending solution at the end to unify the colours, fussy cut and stick to the front of your background.

Adhere to white card stock, adding a Tim Holtz sentiment for the finishing touch.

I love this butterfly, such a lovely size to colour in too.

Supplies Used:

Spectrum Noir Blending Stumps

Hope you like it
