Cheeky Cat by Laura

This is a quick and simple project using 3 of our new Dinky stencil releases but I think it looks quite effective.

First I painted both sides of the mdf panel with the DecoArt Carbon Black paint.

When this was dry, I sponged through the Bubble Wrap Dinky stencil with various colours of Pebeo Dyna paints. I have to say, I really love these paints and I'm really looking forward to using them in future projects. They really ‘pop’ when they are used on a black background and they are lovely and thick. The photo doesn't pick up quite how iridescent they actually are unfortunately.

I then scraped Prima Modeling Paste through the Cheeky Cat stencil using a palette knife and did the same with the Fish Bones stencil, picking out 3 of the fish bones for some finishing touches.

Don't forget there is still time to enter our current challenge - Birds of a Feather over on our challenge blog, for a chance to win a £20 voucher to spend in our shop.
