Runway By Fliss Goodwin

Hi there, I have a little art panel to share this week, a rather girly creation with the gorgeous Runway stamp set by Tim Holtz which was a must have for me as my younger daughter works as a print designer have gained a degree in fashion.

Ingredients:

Carabelle Studio A6 Stamp Sets – Je cree donc je suis by Zorotte, Couture et Damier
PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Acrylic Paints – Blush, Haystack, Sherbert, Lilac
That’s Crafty! Dinky Stencils – Chequerboard Background, Half Circles Background

Recipe:

Paint the postcard with the yellow and lighter pink acrylic paints. When the paint is dry, apply a chequered pattern in opposite corners with the lilac paint. Apply a half circle pattern in the remaining spaces with the deeper pink paint.

Stamp some stitching along the top and bottom with the bright pink ink, stamping off on scrap paper once to mute the colour a little. Stamp the distressed stitching randomly in the same way.

Stamp the text image several times on the background. I then used a scrap of lilac painted paper to stamp some of the circular floral images and cut out 5 of these. I cut some strips from the remaining paper, trimming some into small washi tape type pieces.

I stamped my chosen runway image on stamping paper and painted the dress pink then cut the image out. I assembled the panel as you see, adding some Small Talk stickers to finish.

We have a new challenge for you today over at That’s Crafty! Challenge Blog so don’t forget to check it out at 8am.

Have a lovely Christmas and see you in the New Year!
