Christmas Tree Sparkle by Alison Hall

Hi Everyone, Alison here today, with sparkly Christmas card, made with That's Crafty! Dinky Stencils and Brushos.

Ingredients...

That's Crafty! Dinky Stencils - Trees Background, Bubble Tree
Ranger Inkssentials Cut 'N Dry Foam
6x6 inch White Card Blank
Adhesive Foam Pads

Instructions...

1. Mask off about 2.5 inches width down the left side of the card blank. Sprinkle Lime Green Brushos over the exposed part, lay the Trees Background stencil at the top, mask off beneath it, then spritz with the Sunflower Sparkle Perfect Pearls. Remove the stencil and mask below it, replace the stencil on the lower part of the exposed card, mask off above it (where you have already spritzed), and spritz with the Sunflower Sparkle Perfect Pearls. I removed the stencil and masks and left the inks to dry naturally.

2. Sprinkle Lime Green Brushos onto a piece of white card, lay the Bubble Tree stencil onto it, then spritz with Sunflower Sparkle Perfect Pearls. Remove the stencil, use a heat gun to dry the ink, then cut the tree out. Use Cut 'N Dry Foam to ink the edges with Twisted Citron Distress ink, then adhere the tree to the centre of the card, using foam pads.

3. To finish, ink the edges of a Chit Chat word sticker, then adhere to the bottom right side of the card.

You can see the lovely sparkle and shimmer of the Perfect Pearls in this photo...

  1. I love those tree stencils and that technique really sets them off beautifully. I love the clean white background against the green and gold. Fab! Lx

  2. I really love this - the golden shimmer is wonderful, and the composition is great with those tiny trees echoing the large one.
