Shine, It Is Never Too Late by Lynne Moncrieff

For weeks I had this panel kicking around, knowing it needed something beyond the woman and the moon. When the latest release of Dinky Stencils arrived I spotted the perfect addition, the fabulous Star Shower stencil. I used it to stencil directly onto the panel and also to create star embellishments.

With the new release of Dinky Stencils the designs cover Halloween, Christmas and also beyond, with a fabulous pebble design and also word stencils and more and not only that, That’s Crafty! have added to their wonderful Alterables.

Supplies

Prima Finnabair Stamp Set Never Too Late
PaperArtsy Fresco Finish:- Old Gold, Snowflake, Blue Oyster, Purple Rain, Blueberry

Wendy Vecchi Clear Embossing Paste
Cosmic Shimmer Vintage Mica Flakes Luna Silver, Tarnished Bronze
Extra:- Muslin

Instructions

Adhere torn muslin strips to watercolour paper panel. With an old credit card/palette knife, apply the various paints, misting with water, allowing the paint to drip. Once dry, stipple Snowflake and Old Gold, allowing for a lighter area where the image of the woman will be adhered.
Stamp Finnabair image onto Tissuestock, adhering to panel with Gel Medium. Stipple Old Gold onto white cardstock before inking up the clock section only. Layer over the main image. Stamp moon onto the same painted cardstock, distressing the edges before adhering to top corner.

Mix Pure Platinum with clear embossing paste on craft sheet. Apply patches of Star Shower so the stars fall from the top corner, around the moon and towards the female. Onto white cardstock, with the same mix of texture paste and paint, apply star stencil. Leave to dry before fussy cutting the stars and adhering to panel.

Finally distress Big Chat sticker and ink edges of panel before adhering to cardbase.

Until next time

Lynne
