Too Late? by Alison Hall

A few weeks ago I shared a card made from part of a master board made with DecoArt Media Acrylics and That's Crafty! Dinky Stencils. This week I have used another piece :-)

Ingredients

Master board made with...

That's Crafty! Dinky Stencils - Abstract Squares, Punchinella Background, Bubbles Background
DecoArt Media Acrylic Paint - Yellow Green Light, Phthalo Blue, Cobalt Teal Hue
Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paint - Black, White

DecoArt Media Acrylic Paint - Cobalt Teal Hue
Paint Brush, Small Flat
Double-Sided Tape

Instructions

1. Prepare a master board as shown below, using paints and stencils. Cut into four equal pieces.

2. Take one quarter of the master board, and use black Archival ink to stamp the clocks from the Finnabair stamp set.

3. Paint the space between the clocks with Cobalt Teal Hue. The DecoArt Media paint is translucent, so the master board design will still show a little, even though I painted three coats. Mount your artwork onto black card, then onto a kraft card blank.

4. Stamp the phrase onto a light part of another piece of the master board, cut it out and mount onto black card. Attach it to the card with double-sided tape.

Here's a close-up shot...

Would you believe that I got the inspiration for this technique from a painting inside a WC?! It was at a National Trust property! Lol!

Have a creative day,
