Donna here today with a grungy card for you all featuring a Brusho background.
Here’s What I Did:
I used some white card for this but ideally watercolour paper is much better.
I took a Carabelle image, stamped using black Memento ink and then masked the image off. I left a masked area around the image too as I wanted it to stand out more.
For this I just used the Lime Green Brusho. Mist the paper….not too much….and then sprinkle on the Brusho….remember they are very potent! Blot off any excess and spray more water/add more Brusho until you get the effect you want. Make sure everything is dry.
I then used some stamps from the Finnabair set, 2 were stamped directly on the paper and the other one was stamped on separate card and adhered to the paper.
Remove the masking fluid and then colour the image with ProMarkers.
Lastly, distress the edges of the paper with the Tim Holtz distress tool and add a little Black Soot Distress Ink around the edges and a little on the card to create the grungy effect.
Mount on black card and then onto your white cardstock and there you have it…a grungy angel ;)
Hope you like it
