Precious by Lynne Moncrieff

This week is another card featuring a photo real stamp, this time from the Oxford Impressions’ China Dolls stamp set.

Supplies

Oxford Impressions Stamp Sets:- China Dolls and Dressforms & Corsetry
Archival Ink Potting Soil and Sepia
Martha Stewart Metallic Acrylics:- Rose Gold, Copper and Rose Copper
PaperArtsy Fresco Chalk Acrylics:- Blush and Vintage Lace
Extras:- Seam binding, lace, paper doily and die-cut border (I was lucky enough to be sent this die-cut border from a friend), fabric scraps and old book page

Instructions

Create background by painting watercolour paper with various Martha Stewart Metallics and Frescos and stamping a mixture of stamps from China Dolls and Dressforms & Corsetry. Adhere panel to cardbase and lay aside for the moment.

Ink up China Dolls stamp with Sepia ink, using brayer for even application of ink, stamping onto glossy cardstock.

Paint shipping tag with metallics and Frescos. Repeatedly stamp text stamp. Layer the China Dolls stamped image to the tag. Now layer the tag to a paper doily painted with metallics. Stamp text stamp onto margin from a vintage book page. Layer this to the tag along with the die-cut border, again painted and fabric and lace, adding a  pink pearl sticker.

Apply paints to white cardstock. Stamp two booties and buttons. Attach booties to seam binding and adhere to top corner of cardbase, allowing the booties to hang freely. Finally adhere the stamped buttons to the card.

Until next time,
