Her Latest Hat by Alison Hall

Would you believe a tie was my inspiration for this tag's background?! I've used a resist technique and Lynne Perrella stamps to create my tag.

Here's what I used...

Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Aquamarine, Jet Black
Lace, Net, Pearl Brads

Instructions

1. Mix a little Media Tinting Base into some Green Gold Media Acrylic Paint, about 50/50 proportions, then use the stencil brush to apply it to the tag, through the stencil.

2. Remove the stencil, dry the paint with the heat gun, replace the stencil, then use Aquamarine ink to stamp the script from LPC014.

3. Sponge Versamark Ink through the stencil, remove the stencil, apply clear embossing enamel, then melt this with the heat gun.

4. Spritz the tag with some water, then spritz with the Vibrant Turquoise Dylusions. Blot up excess ink with kitchen towel, then leave to dry. Sponge the edges of the tag with black ink.

5. Stamp the teacup lady from LPC014, and the phrase from From The Past onto white card, and cut out. Paint the lady's jewels and teacup with the Dylusions ink, ink the edges of the words with black ink, and adhere to the tag.

6. Apply colour to the ribbon, lace and net with the Dylusions ink, and adhere to the tag. Finish off with some blue pearl brads.

I hope I've inspired you to go create!
