Mosaic Lady by Alison Hall

Hello Crafters. This week I have used some Stampbord pieces and a beautiful PaperArtsy Lynne Perrella stamp to decorate a little wooden box.

Here's what I used...

Wooden Box - 3.5" square surface by 2" depth
PaperArtsy Stamp Sets - Lynne Perrella Collections 29 & 32
Ranger Distress Ink Pads - Vintage Photo, Salty Ocean, Crushed Olive, Spiced Marmalade, Antique Linen, Spun Sugar
Cotton Buds

1. Cut a piece of Ranger Adhesive Sheet 3" square, peel back one protective layer, then arrange 9 1" square pieces of Stampbord to form a 3" square on it.

2. Use black Archival ink to stamp the face from LPC29 fairly centrally onto the Stampbord, then fill in the edges using the script stamp from LPC32.

3. Use cotton buds and Distress Inks to colour the stamped images.

4. Give the wooden box two coats of black gesso.

5. Peel back the adhesive on the back of the Stampbord pieces, and adhere to the box lid. Do this very carefully, as the adhesive is very hi-tack.

I hope you like my little mosaic box. As the Stampbord is very light, you could also make a mosaic to decorate a card.
