I'm back after a two-month break, during which time you've seen some amazing work from Amanda Southern (what an act to follow!) I've eased myself in slowly with a trio of ATCs featuring faux paint drips and watercolour-style butterflies.

There's no complicated techniques involved, rather it's an opportunity to experiment with composition. I'm not entirely sure I nailed it on all three but the small ATC format is a great way to play without wasting too much card and ink.

The drips were created with Distress Stains applied direct to the Painted Drips stamps. I also used the stains for additional background colour, either scribbled or splatted. The butterflies are all stamped with archival ink, with extra colour added with ProMarkers.

The Small Talk Sticker book contains three pages of phrases in white, repeated in black. I cut the phrases into shorter lengths.

If you're not into ATCs just incorporate them into a card.
