Bloomin' Bold by Lynne Moncrieff

Had some fun with colourful Brushos for a card which is a little bit bolder in style to my norm.

Supplies

Brusho Crystal Colours:- Lemon, Brilliant Red, Scarlett, Ost. Red, Moss Green and Leaf Green
PaperArtsy Fresco Chalk Finish Acrylics:- Prawn (Limited Edition JOFY Collection Set 3), Sherbet, Snowflake and Zesty Zing
Extras:- Fabric, book page and lace rose trim

Instructions

Tear watercolour paper to required size. Stamp Scribbly Flower then apply Grunge Paste with artist palette knife/old credit card. Once dry sprinkle Brushos (I pierced a hole/holes into the lid of each pot as this creates less mess)  onto panel, mist with water. Whilst the colour is still wet, drag the colour onto the actual flower with the watercolour brush.

Partially ink sentiment and stamp onto found paper. Layer with fabric. Adhere to panel.

Embellish the card with lace rose trim painted with Sherbet and Prawn then finally, flick diluted Snowflake onto the panel then apply Zesty Zing to the edges of the card with your fingertips.

Until next time,

Lynne

  8. Yes, this is a beautiful and vivid 'shabby chic' style! I love how the little roses along the edge seem to be growing out of the design. I love the bold palette - vivid yet feminine! xxx
