The Rose Garden by Lynne Moncrieff

This card features stamping onto crackle effect, achieved with Fresco Finish Crackle Glaze.

Supplies

PaperArtsy ESN 05 (script and postal cancellation stamps)
PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics:- Chalk, Stone, Taupe, Lake Wanaka and Vintage Lace
Manila Shipping Tag
Idea-ology Linen Ribbon and Tiny Attacher
Extras:- I worked on vintage Bingo card (substitute with white cardstock), various scraps of lace and book text.

Instructions

Create crackle on both the shipping tag and Bingo card (or cardstock).

Tear bottom edge from the tag. Ink up the rose stamp with Sepia ink followed by stamping the script with second generation stamping. Stamp script onto the torn off bottom edge of the tag.

On the main panel repeatedly stamp rose, script and postal cancellation stamps. Edge both panels with Distress Ink.

Scrunch Crunchy Wax Paper then dry brush with Chalk Fresco before roughly pleating.  Assemble the tag by adhering the torn of bottom edge to the top of the tag, embellishing with a piece of Linen Ribbon and the pleated Crunchy Wax Paper.

Apply Lake Wanaka to a piece of book text. Edge with Distress Ink. Layer, along with scraps of mica tile and lace, etc, attaching with Tiny Attacher to bottom corner of tag.  Adhere to main panel, further embellishing with various scraps, finally adhering to cardbase.

Until next time,

Lynne
