Grow by Donna Gray

Hello everyone,

Donna here today with a creation on PaperArtsy greyboard for you.

Here’s What I Did:

I took a greyboard and sprayed it with Liquitex paint spray but this colour and finish can easily be achieved by painting or spraying with inks.

Then I took some Grunge Paste and spread it through a Crafters Workshop stencil and then dried with the heat gun.

Take a DecoArt Media Mister spray and just lightly spritz so you get the ‘run’ effect, dry once again.

I then took Dina Wakley’s Positive Women set and just stamped the grungy dot stamp randomly over the background with black Archival ink.

Next I took one of the women from the set and some of my own carved stamps and stamped on white card using a mixture of Memento/Chalk and Brilliance inks.

I then coloured Dina’s image in with Promarkers and added a text paper cutting from my stash for added contrast.

Cut out your stamped images and adhere to the greyboard. I added a little painted heart and a Tim Holtz Chit Chat Sticker for the finishing touch……all done, time to grow!
