Far To Fly by Fliss Goodwin

Hi there, I have a very quick and simple card to share this week in some bright and zingy colours ideal to send to someone about to spread their wings and fly.

Ingredients:

Distress Inks – Salty Ocean, Ripe Persimmon
Distress Stains – Squeezed Lemonade, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Ripe Persimmon
Dark Blue Card

Recipe:

·       Cut a piece of smooth card around 14cm square and stamp the chevron design across the lower half, starting with the orange ink slightly off centre and then stamping either side with the blue ink.

·       Stamp your chosen bird on smooth card with the cobalt Archival ink and paint with the Distress stains. Cut the bird out leaving a tiny border.

·       Stamp the spread your wings text directly on the decorated paper on the left hand side using the cobalt ink. Add the paper to a dark blue mat and stick to your chosen card blank. Stick the bird on as shown to finish.

As you now see, very simple!

Don’t forget to check out the challenge blog at 8am as we have a new challenge for you today.

See you next week.
