Believe You Can by Alison Hall

Hello Crafters. This week I've used Faber-Castell Gelatos with some lovely new PaperArtsy Sara Naumann stamps.

Ingredients

PaperArtsy Grunge Paste
PaperArtsy Stencil - Lin Brown - 001
Watercolour Paper
Ranger Archival Ink Pads - Jet Black, Aquamarine
Ranger Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool
Square Card Blank
Scissors
Blue Buttons

Instructions

1. On a 5x5 inch piece of watercolour paper, use a palette knife to scrape Grunge Paste through the Lin Brown stencil. I left some free space in the centre for the bird image. Dry with a heat gun, then use the black and aquamarine Archival inks to stamp the script and circle images. Heat set the ink.

2. Use the purple, blue and green Gelatos to scribble bands of colour, then blend with a paint brush and water. I also spritzed with water, then held the paper up to get some drips. Dry with the heat gun.

3. Stamp the bird with the Archival Black ink, then stamp again onto watercolour paper. Cut out the bird body, and use Glossy Accents to attach it over the image on the background.

4. Stamp the phrase onto watercolour paper, cut out, sponge the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink, then glue in place.

5. Ink the edges of the artwork with Black Soot DI, attach to a square card, then add some blue buttons over some of the Grunge Paste circles to finish.

I adore this colour combination and that cute bird, hope you like it too.
