Sweet Love by Lynne Moncrieff

I had to squeeze in one more Valentine creation!

This is a hanging ornament where I stamped into paperclay with a Dina Wakley Collaged Heart.

Supplies

Fresco Finish Chalk Paint:- Snowflake, Blush
Mister Bottle
Gel Medium
Wooden Heart Embellishment
Extras:- Old rolling pin, red and white twine, scrap of fabric

Instructions

Roll paperclay to required thickness. Stamp Collaged Heart and Love into the clay Remember to immediately clean your stamp thoroughly. Use a craft knife to cut away excess clay from around the heart and word. Pierce a hole in the heart then leave to dry on a flat surface.

Apply Romance chalk paint then when this layer is dry apply Snowflake using the dry brush method. For the lower section of the heart apply a light application of Blush then quickly add a touch of Snowflake. Apply Romance to wooden heart.

Adhere Love to paperclay heart, layering with a scrap of ticking. Adhere the wooden heart and finally thread twine so the heart is now ready to hang.

Until next time,

Lynne

  7. So beautiful it's good enough to eat, Lynne except that would be such a shame! I love your Valentine creations and I really admire what you do with PaperClay. I've created faces with it, but you always inspire me to do more! If only there were more hours in a day! xx
