Stars by Fliss Goodwin

Hi there, I have another rather bright creation to share this week as I’ve got my rather inky fingers on some new Carabelle Studio goodies and couldn’t wait to play. This is a really quick and simple card that’s easy to make.

Ingredients:

Carabelle Studio A6 Stamps – Birgit Koopsen’s Reach For The Stars
Carabelle Studio XL Mask – Soleil et Spirale
Ripe Persimmon and Aged Mahogany Distress Inks
Archival Jet Black Ink
Cosmic Shimmer Mist – Rich Gold
Diarylide Yellow Pan Pastel
Watercolour Paper

Recipe:

·       Cut a square of watercolour paper to fit your chosen card blank and colour with the yellow Pan Pastel, rubbing in well until covered. Spritz with the gold Cosmic Shimmer Mist and leave to dry.

·       Lay the stencil on top and apply the Persimmon Distress ink to create the sunray and spiral design. When this has dried, place the stencil on again and stamp part of mesh design from the stamp set onto the rays with the Aged Mahogany ink.

·       Stamp the stars text on the decorated paper with the black ink and stamp some stars around it with the same ink. The black against the sunset colours gives quite a striking effect I think.

·       Glue the decorated paper to your card blank and you’re done!

See you again next week.
