Winter Trees by Alison Hall

Hello crafters. I have a simple one layer card to share with you today.

PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Paint - Snowflake, Tango, Mermaid, Hey Pesto

1. Use the small Woodware brayer to apply Snowflake Fresco Finish paint across the centre of a 6x4 ins kraft card, then apply Tango to the top, over the Snowflake, Mermaid to the centre, and Hey Pesto to the bottom.

2. Stamp the Crafty Individuals Tree image with the Versafine ink.

I told you it was simple! A perfect card for those Winter birthdays, or any other occasion, just add your chosen sentiment.

Until next week,

Alison x

  1. Beautiful effect with the brayer and what a great image that it is! Love the colours too! It's really nice to see inventive ideas with one layer cards like this, as mailing bulky items is such a pain yet this still has the 'Wow!' factor! xxx

  2. So effective for a quick and simple card, Alison. I love that brayering - very painterly.

  3. A very simply executed card, but a stunning result, what a fabulous CI image that is... may have to go shopping....

  4. Really gorgeous Alison and the brayered effect looks fab - gives great depth to a one layer creation.
    Fliss xx

  5. Beautiful card. Gorgeous background, such a stunning blending technique.

  6. What a wonderful card - love how the bright colours on the image are framed by the kraft and the worn out brayered paint at the edges. Fabulous design!

  7. Really cool! Love the paint effect - it's fab on the Kraft card and the stamp is gorgeous! xxx

  8. Your card is really beautiful Alison and such an inspiration!
Love everything about it...that stamp is really super too.
