A Sequence of Moments Journal by Fliss Goodwin

Hi there, this week I have a journal page to share as I’ve decided to start a new loose leaf journal with pages sized to fit the 8 x 10 Gelli Plate so that I can make most of my backgrounds using it with various inks and paints – good plan hmm?

Ingredients:

Stamping Gear Stamp Set – Petals
Brusho Crystals – Lemon, Yellow, Orange, Rose Red
Vintage Music Score

Recipe:

·       Fill the water mister with warm water and mist the gelli plate. Sprinkle with the Brusho Crystals and mist again then press the watercolour paper on to pick up the colour. Repeat until you’re happy with the colour. Stamp the diamond design all over with the red ink.

·       Using the oval cog, stamp a flower petal ring on the right side of the coloured paper with the black ink, stamping the last images off the page. Stamp the same number of petals on the music score with the black ink and cut out. Stick these over the images on the coloured paper.

·       Stamp the butterfly collage image twice on the music score with black ink and then die cut with a scalloped circle. Stick one in the centre of the flower and the other on the opposite side of the paper and trim off the excess.

·       Stamp on the sequence of moments text with black ink to finish.
