Tweedles Journal Page by Mandy C

Mandy’s Must-haves ~ these are the items I always use in my projects

A5 Journal
Oxford Impressions ~ Classic Alice and Wonderland
Kaisercraft ~ Journal and Diamonds
Distress Ink Pads ~ Mowed Lawn and Picked Raspberry
DecoArt Neon Paint ~ Yellow and Pink

·       Start with a clean journal page, take your two neon paints and use a scraper to create the background. (I use an old gift card)

·       Spray through the mask with the Dylusions spray ink, then blot off as much as possible. Dry with the heat tool. Then turn the mask over and press onto the clock image, it should give you a second image of the clock. Blot again and dry.

·       Take the cream acrylic and Cut and Dry and knock back some of the brightness of the background. Dry.

·       Stamp the texture stamps from Bo Bunny at random places on the page using black Archival. Do it as lightly as possible so the black isn’t too stark.

·       Using the Picked Raspberry and the Kaisercraft journal add more texture. Then lightly add some of the diamonds with the black Archival. Dry.

·       Stamp the heart from the Wonderland set and the Mowed Lawn Distress ink over the page. Dry. As it’s Distress ink going onto the acrylic you will need to use a heat tool.

·       Stamp the ‘wonderland’ word across the clock face using the black Archival.

·       That is the background complete.

·       Stamp the tweedles image from the Classic Alice set and the pocket watch from the Wonderland set. Using the black Archival onto the stamping card. Colour with watercolour pencils. Cut out.

·       To make the Tweedles pop out a little more, I glued the image onto some card and cut a small edge which I coloured with a black Promarker. I then glued into postion. Glue the clocks onto the page.

·       I then added some washi tape to ground the image.

·       Edge the journal page with the black Gelato, rubbing into the page with your finger.

·       Finally add some of the Aurora Sparkle Paste to the clock faces and a little onto the page.
