Star Shine Bright by Lynne Moncrieff

At the time of making the paperclay star for my card last week I made a batch of stars at the same time. This is another of the stars, embellishing one side of an Indigoblu MDF Bauble.

SUPPLIES

PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Vintage Lace, Antarctic
Metal Frame
Lace
French Book Text

INSTRUCTIONS

I already had the paperclay star made but if you are new to working with paperclay then please read my post from 2nd November and it will show you how to create this paperclay star ready for you to embellish.

Apply Gesso to MDF bauble followed with Vintage Lace.

Heat emboss Sleigh Bells script onto both sides.

Apply Gel Medium to edge of bauble then apply the Luna Silver mica flakes.

Star:- Paint star with Antarctic. While the paint is still wet apply Glamour Dust.  Leave to dry.  Embellish with a flat back pearl.

Metal Frame:- Onto frame apply Gesso and Vintage Lace then apply Glamour Dust. Apply Antarctic to scrap of book text. Stamp Noel from Joyeux Noel. Highlight with Stardust pen. Adhere to frame and embellish with flat back pearls.

Adhere scraps of lace to bauble with Gel Medium and adhere the star and frame with silicone glue.

Hang bauble with lace.

Until next week,

Lynne

  3. Oh, how these would grace any Christmas tree. Something about them makes me think of Jane Austen! They look so elegant and perfect and they sparkle subtly: I suppose that's just like the way she writes! xx
