Snowflakes and Wishes by Lynne Moncrieff

I am sharing a Christmas card with you this week featuring a small stamp but a stamp that must be one of my most inked up stamps, wish.

Oxford Impressions Sleigh Bells and Christmas Wish
PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Paint Blush and Vintage Lace
Studio Calico Starburst
Gel Medium (Matt)
Maimeri Iridescent Paste
Ivory Jute Twine
Pompom Trim
Vintage Book Text

Dry brush Gesso onto Kraft cardstock with foam brush. Apply Maimeri Paste to snowflake stencil.

Paint book text with Fresco Finish paints. Use brayer to ink up stamp. Stamp onto the painted book text.

Stamp Wish onto margin of book text.

Layer stamped image to cardbase with fragment of lace, pompom trim and sentiment.  Tie twine into bow and adhere to top corner of image.

Paint wooden embellishment with Picket Fence embellishing with flat back pearl.

Generously apply Glamour Dust to the card.

Until next time,

  1. Beautiful and inspiring Lynne! Vintage Lace is the perfect skin tone! xx

  2. so elegant, delicate, beautiful! xo

  3. Vintage perfection on this beautiful piece, love it!!

  4. Dear Lynne, I am totally blown away with this beautiful piece of card. The way your stenciled snowflakes are standing so sharp and wonderful, that they looks like a piece of fabric, and the face and wish stamps are both gorgeous. Your adds of twine, star and glitter, makes it a wonderful christmas card.
    Dorthe, xxxx

  5. What a lovely card, very delicate.. I love especially the snowflakes, maybe the paste you used gives some extra shine Lynne?? Or additional paint over it maybe, coupled to the dust.. Wonderful in all cases, the central image is also a great one I agree. Coco xxx

  6. Very beautiful Lynne. I love the paste background and your gentle touch of sparkle. The image is stunning.

  10. Such a magical card Lynne. I love that stamp. I remember first seeing it about 2 years ago when I began blogging and I've always wanted it. It might just find its way into my Christmas stocking yet! I love the subtle way you've used it here: perfection! xxx
