Angel Frame by Mandy C

Mandy’s Must-haves ~ these are the items I always use in my projects

Waterbrush

What I used for this project:

Cosmic Shimmer Texture Paste ~ Clear

·       Take your frame ~ this is a chipboard one however you could make your own using some thick card/mountboard. The dimensions are 5 x 6 inches with a 3 x 2 inch aperture.

·       Using the texture paste and the template, add some texture around the frame. Move the template around to get the best shape on the frame.

·       Blast with a heat tool.

·       Add your Distress paint and blend together until you get a colour you like. Once dry rub the ‘Watering Can’ ink VERY lighty over the texture paste… it will bring out the raised bits. Stamp the papermania stamp lightly on the edge of the frame using the StazOn brown.

·       Add your black paint around the edge of the aperture  and the edge of the frame. Rub in with your finger as this creates more of a vintage feel. Add some gilding wax on top of the texture as well as on the frame itself.

·       Set the frame to one side.

·       Stamp out the winged girl using the black Archival onto some stamping card. Cut out the image from the shrine. Colour using your watercolour pencils. Add some Stickles to the wings.

·       Work out where you’d like the angel to sit. Glue on some vintage music paper onto the back of the aperture. And then glue your angel into position.
