Bossy Boots - Card by Deborah

Dina Wakley Media Cling Stamps: From the Past, All the Gals
Carabelle Studio: I Love Washi Tape, Journal du Jour
Ranger Archival Ink: Jet Black
Promarkers: Black, Buttercup, a selection of Greys
Dina Wakley Fude Ball Pen: Black
Double Sided Tape
From my stash: Grey Card, Staples

Another card using a vintage face from the new Dina Wakley stamp set - and a very simple one to create.

I stamped her in Archival ink onto the white card. Stamped her again on scrap paper (or use a post-it note) and cut her out to make a mask. Positioned the mask and stamped with the two Carabelle stamps. I filled a gap just above her head with a word from the All the Gals set.

We're told not to use Promarkers with Archival ink but if you let it dry well first and colour carefully you can.

I decided to continue her body beyond the stamp using the Fude Ball pen (also using it for extra definition around the edge of the image) then coloured in with the Black Promarker.

I coloured a scrap of card with the Buttercup Promarker, stamped the sentiment, cut it out and stapled it to her body where the stamped image met the Black marker.

Finally, I edged the piece with black, matted it onto grey card and then onto a card blank made with black card.
