Listen to your Inner Voice by Lynne Moncrieff

This is another affirmations card where I have once again combined the Dina Wakley Affirmations stencil and Sam Poole Art Sayings.

Dina Wakley Stamp Sets All The Gals and Textures
Cosmic Shimmer Chalk Paint:- Jade Mist, Shallow Sea, Tuberose
Watercolour Paper (I used HP 300 gsm but you could substitute with Ranger Watercolour Paper)
White Cardstock/6”x4” pre-scored cardbase
Extras:- Lace and muslin

Apply torn lace and muslin to watercolour panel.

Apply paints to panel with old credit card or palette knife. Heat set before swiping on Gesso.

Stamp Gal and randomly stamp writing from Textures set.

With black fineliner pen stencil words from Affirmations stencil.

Onto white cardstock apply Jade Mist paint. Stamp Art Saying. Cut into word tiles and edge with Distress Ink. Adhere to panel. Draw around each word tile.

Adhere panel to cardbase. Apply Distress Paint to edges.

Until next time,

  14. I love the way you're really branching out and experimenting! You are a multi-faceted artist, Lynne and I love all the different paths you take with your art - the well-trodden, but beautiful ones and the new, who knows what's round the corner ones! The colour and the texture on this are great. I love the way you added the sentiment too. What makes your work lovely is that you always do listen to your inner voice! Sorry, I've had a hectic time and I'm sooo behind with commenting! Glad - as always - that I stopped by! Julie Ann xxx
