Fly Card by Mandy C

Cosmic Shimmer Glue
Old book paper…. If you don’t have any you can create a similar feel to some paper using Watering Can Archival and a script stamp

·       Cut your card to around 3 x 4 inches, spray the card with the turquoise spray. Blot it so remove the excess and heat dry.

·       Using the aquamarine Archival ink and the cutlery stamp from the TH set stamp over the background of the card.

·       Stamp the ‘circles’ from the Artistic Outpost set onto the background with the Watering Can Archival. Set to one side.

Whilst that is drying…

·       Stamp the face stamp onto the old book paper using the black Archival ink. Heat set and colour with watercolour pencils.  Cut a crown to fit the head and colour with the gold Gelato. Stamp out 3 butterflies from the Graphic 45 set and colour with some watercolour pencils.

·       Take your dry background and stamp the wreath onto it using the Distress paint, at random intervals. Dry with a heat tool.

·       Adhere all your stamped images onto the card. I’ve put the crown as if it’s coming off her head.

·       Stamp the word ‘fly’ onto your card. I’ve used an Octopode word stamp for this but there’s plenty of ‘fly’ stamps in the shop.

·       Edge with the Distress paint.
