Crow Party Bookmark by Alison Hall

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Alison is joining our
Design Team permanently. Welcome aboard Alison!

I decided those fabulous Party Crows needed another outing, so I made a sparkly bookmark for a little friend's birthday.

Ingredients...

Tim Holtz Tissue Tape
Alcohol Inks - Stream & Bottle
Stamped Tissue scraps for the perches
Sizzix Tattered Lace Die
Tim Holtz Remnant Rubs - Words

Instructions...

1. Cut a Grungeboard bookmark 20 x 6 cm, then stick little pieces of tissue tape to the front, for texture. Seal back & front with a coat of Studio Matt Medium.

2. Colour the front and back with the alcohol inks, then use the Archival ink to stamp the Ruler Background on the front.

3. Stamp the Crows onto white card, colour with Distress ink, & cut out. Mark where they'll go on the bookmark, & use Matt Medium to glue some tissue perches. You could use torn Tissue Tape for this. Glue the Crows in place.

4. Cut a piece of Tattered Lace for the bottom, glue in place, then edge with a little alcohol ink.

5. Apply the Remnant Rub phrase to white card, cut out the individual words, & glue in place. Use a black journaling pen to outline the words & the 'crow perches'.

6. Use your fingers to apply Rock Candy Distress Glitter to both sides of the bookmark, then finish by adding a little aqua stickles to the crows' hats.

Thanks for dropping by,
