A Whole Lotta Love by Lynne Moncrieff

On receiving the Dina Wakley Collaged Heart set I wanted to have some fun playing with paperclay and one of the heart stamps.

Paperclay is fun to use stamps but remember, you need to ensure you carefully clean your stamps afterwards.

Supplies

Mod Podge Matt
Creative Paperclay
Martha Stewart Satin Acrylic Paint:-  Beach Glass and Artichoke
Loxley Gold Deep Edge Canvas 4”x3”
Rolling Pin

Instructions

Paperclay Hearts

Roll the paperclay. Lightly mist the stamp with water before stamping into the paperclay. Clean the stamp immediately. Cut around the hearts, creating three individual hearts before leaving to dry. (Drying time depends on thickness of the paperclay and also temperature and humidity).

When they are completely dry … (remember to be patient!) paint the hearts adding Black Soot highlights.

Canvas

Apply the paints to the canvas.

Randomly stamp handwriting onto canvas.

Partially ink the Love Rocks stamp onto tissue paper. Stamp a sentiment onto tissue paper. Adhere to canvas with Mod Podge.

Adhere the hearts with silicone glue.

Finally, edge canvas with Black Soot Distress Paint.

Until next week,

Lynne
