'She is Unstoppable' Journal Page by Alison Hall

Hi Everyone! I have a bright journal page to share with you for my guest post today.

Here are the ingredients...

Scraps of lace, music sheet, etc.
Faber-Castell Gelatos - 50's Diner
Prima Stamps - Vintage Vanity No. 6 & Bricks
Kaisercraft Stamps - Film Edges & Tiny Dot
Copic Multi-liner - Black

and, here's the instructions...

1. Use Studio Matt Medium to glue scraps of lace & paper to water colour paper. I used music sheet to mark where the face would go, keeping it fairly flat.

2. Cover with white gesso.

3. Add some colour with the Gelatos, then use a paint brush & water to blend.

4. Stamp the background & edges with the Prima & Kaisercraft stamps. Dry with a heat gun, then sponge some white gesso where the face will be stamped.

5. Stamp the Dina Wakley Scribbly Woman, stamp the Prima lace to disguise the bottom edge, then use a black pen to draw in her arms. Add some more colour to her with the Gelatos, blending with water again.

6. Finish off by stamping the Dina Wakley words & inking the edges of the page with Jet Black Archival. I also added some watery splatters of white gesso.

I'll be back next week with my final guest piece for June. See you then, I hope :-)
