Octopode Bunting by Mandy C

This week I’ve started on some bunting using some stamps from The Octopode Factory. I thought this is something I can add to and use all the Alice images available. (eventually)

Kaisercraft ~ Script Stamp and Crackle Stamp
Archival Ink ~ Black, Blue Violet and Cobalt

·       Firstly, I resized the bunting to fit the Octopode stamps on nicely. Cut the template out and then cut the 3 pennants out of white card.

·       I painted the 3 pennants with different coloured H2o’s. Either dry with a heat tool or leave to dry.

·       Stamp out the Octopode Factory images onto stamping card with the black Archival. Colour with watercolour pencils. Cut out and set to one side.

·       Stamp onto the pennants using the script stamp and the blue violet ink.

·       Using the black paint and your finger, edge around the pennants and through some of the stencil.

·       Put the washi tape along the bottom of the pennants. Arrange the stamped images onto top of each and then adhere using the Cosmic Shimmer Glue.

·       Stamp the words from the Artistic Outpost set using the cobalt Archival ink, cut out and adhere to the pennants.

·       Edge the pennants with the chalk ink so soften the edges.

·       Glue to some ribbon or string to make your bunting.
