I Spy by Fliss Goodwin

Hello there, I have quite a simple creation for you this week which is to kick start my intended theme for the next few weeks which is to be a love of mine – Steampunk. So here’s a quick one to get the ball rolling.

Here’s What You Need:

Cardstock – Manila, Kraft
Distress Inks – Wild Honey, Vintage Photo, Antique Linen
Archival Ink – Coffee
Dymo Machine or Stamps for Text

Here’s How To:

·       Cut a piece of manila cardstock to fit your chosen card blank (mine is kraft card). Use the clockwork stencil and a sponge applicator tool to add a clock pattern to the cardstock.

·       Place the stencil back over the inked areas and add a little Vintage Photo. Remove the stencil and sponge on Antique Linen. Darken the edges with Vintage Photo ink.

·       Stamp the looking glass image with the Archival ink on manila cardstock and trim to a square panel. Add to a kraft cardstock mat and stick to the card.

·       Finish off with text made with a Dymo machine and black tape or stamp it if you prefer.

So there you have it, short and sweet this week!

Don’t forget to check out the challenge blog later as we have a great new challenge for you today and to give you a bit of a clue, it could be considered seasonal!
