Man of Destiny by Donna Ratcliff

So everyone ready for the weekend? Been playing with the great Time Traveller’s stamp set from the Tim Holtz collection, a lovely set for those masculine cards…….

Time Traveler – Tim Holtz Collection
Kaisercraft Clear Stamps – Graffiti, Confidence
Crafters Workshop Template –
Mini Specimens

Distress Ink –
Salty Ocean, Squeezed Lemonade, Pumice Stone

Memento Ink –
Tuxedo Black

Promarkers

Cut ‘n’Dry Foam

Kraft Card

White Card

1. Started out by putting some blobs of Distress ink (Pumice Stone, Squeezed Lemonade and Salty Ocean) onto my craft mat, spritzing with water and then pulling a piece of white card through it to start creating my background.

2. Then using some Cut ‘n’ Dry Foam I added some interest by applying some Pumice Stone Distress ink through the Mini Specimens Mask.

3. Then I stamped the man with the top hat onto a piece of smooth white card in black Memento, cut him out and very lightly blended a little Pumice Stone ink over him before colouring him in with Promarkers and sticking him in place on the background.

4. Once he was stuck in place I used the Mini Specimens Mask over the top of him in a couple of places just to help ‘ground’ him to the page.

5. Then I stamped the cogs and applied a little colour to them with Promarkers.

6. To finish the main panel I used the graffiti stamp to add a bit of interest round the edges and put a few doodle lines round the stamped figure.

7. I mounted it onto some kraft card and then onto a white card blank.

8. Then I stamped the sentiment in black onto a piece of white card, trimmed it, lightly shaded it with Pumice Stone before mounting onto the same kraft card and sticking in place on the card.

Hope you have a lovely weekend and see you next week
