Into The Valley of the Dolls by Mandy C

Artistic Outpost ~ Generation Redux
Cogs from Timekeeper Set
Fig numbers from Nature Walk Set
Selection of Sprays ~ Cosmic Shimmer or Glimmer Mist
Crafters Workshop Template ~ Mini Well Rounded
Card
Stamping Card

This week, I’m carrying on my little altered study cards tag book. You can see my first lot here.

The tags are quite small so these Doll stamps fit just nicely onto them. I took 3 previously made backgrounds (I used sprays on the backgrounds), cut the tags to size and punched a hole in the top. Stamp the dolls using Archival onto some stamping card. Stamp all 4 mini sized tickets onto some card. Colour and cut all the images out.

Hope Tag ~ I used brown StazOn and stamped using one of the script stamps from the OI set onto the background. Stamp the ‘fig’ stamp down the left side. Position the doll and adhere, then add the ticket on. Edge with Gelatos and chalk inks. Finally stamp part of the cog stamps using the black Archival on two of the edges.

Create Tag ~ use brown StazOn and stamp using one of the script stamps from the OI set onto the background. Build up some texture using the stencil and some dark green chalk ink. Add the doll image, add some shadow with the Gelatos and stamp the cogs into the corners. Finally add the ticket along the bottom of the tag.

Inspire Tag ~ again using the brown StazOn and the script stamp, begin your background. Add texture with chalk ink and the punchinella stamp from the AO Generation Redux set. Adhere the doll and the ticket and edge with chalk ink and Gelatos. Finally stamp the cogs.

Lastly, after stamping the large doll I realised that she was too big for one of the tags so I made an ATC to go along with the set. Apply the same principles as for the mini tags, build up a background using the stamps and stencil using chalk inks. Add the doll image and the ticket. Edge with the Gelatos and chalk ink and then finally with the brown StazOn. Also use the black Archival to add the cogs in the corn.
