Generation Redux by Mandy C

When Laura starting stocking this set of Artistic Outpost stamps I was over the moon! I totally adore it.

I’ve made another page in my 4x4 chipboard altered book, however, as it’s a 4x4 you can easily make a hanging or a card with similar ideas.

Archival ~ Blue Manganese
Cosmic Shimmer INK Sprays ~ Meadow Green and Riviera Blue

·       Cut a piece of card to a 4x4 size. Paint a base coat using the Fresco paint. Leave to dry. Spray with the Cosmic Shimmer ink sprays. They are fairly intense so I blotted some of the ink off whilst it was wet. Dry with a heat tool.

·       Using the hexagon stencil… and the Olive Pastel chalk ink dab through randomly. As it’s such a small area, I used the smaller hexagons. Dry.

·       Take the ‘punchinella’ stamp from the Gen Redux set and using the blue Archival, stamp around the edges of the card.

·       Stamp the lady onto some stamping card, cut out and position where you want her, then you can see where you want to stamp the other images you want to use. I’ve stamped the 12345 in black Archival onto the top left side and the ‘d’ from the stampers anonymous set in Olive Pastel chalk ink to one side, so you can see some of it once you’ve adhered your focal image.

·       Colour the lady in and adhere to the card. Add some stamping around the edge using one of the floral stamps on the Gen Redux set.

·       Using the chalk inks, ink around the edge, I used Aquamarine first and then the Deep Green to add a bit of depth.

·       Finally, add some depth using some watercolour around the focal image.
