A Boy’s Adventure by Lynne Moncrieff

My project for this week is a quick card and sees me returning to a stamp set I first played with back in April, Artistic Outpost’s Huck Finn set.

Supplies

Idea-ology Tiny Attacher
Gel Medium
Water soluble crayon – copper and brown (I used Caran d’ache NeoColor II but any crayon or watercolour can be used)
White cardstock or 7”x5” cardbase
Button
Ivory Twine (substitute with bakers twine or embroidery thread, etc)
Artist Brush
Heat Gun (optional)
Extras:- burlap, twine, muslin and vintage book page (blank page)

Instructions

Flick water soluble crayon onto cardbase.

Attach twine to burlap with Tiny Attacher. Adhere to cardbase with Gel Medium.

Roughly cut panel of muslin to size and stamp image with StazOn.

Attach to vintage book page with Tiny Attacher. Smudge Distress Paint and Distress Ink randomly onto the page.

This time ink only the text with VersaFine. Stamp onto scrap piece of vintage book page.  Adhere to side of muslin.

Adhere burlap and button (threaded with ivory twine) to panel with Gel Medium then adhere the whole panel to cardbase again with Gel Medium.

Stamp explore and dream. Tear, ink edges and adhere to the cardbase.

The card is finished.
