Once Upon A Time by Lynne Moncrieff

Although I have owned Lynne Perrella stamps for some time now, since I started to get serious about stamping, it is only now that I have received my first set of Lynne Perrella Collection by PaperArtsy.

This canvas sees the first inking up one of the stamps.

Supplies

Daler-Rowney Square Canvas (you will find other canvases at That’s Crafty)
Gel Medium
Extras:- muslin, vintage crochet lace, lace rose cut from trim

Instructions

Apply Distress Stain to the canvas.

Stamp Lynne Perrella stamp onto muslin. Fray edges then adhere to burlap with Idea-ology Mini Fasteners. Adhere panel to canvas with Gel Medium.

Note:- A good substitute for the burlap and canvas would be a Tim Holtz Burlap Panel.

Apply metallic paint to cardstock. Stamp images from Castle Keep stamp plate. Adhere to panel.

Embellish the canvas with various vintage crochet lace. Create an embellishment by applying Distress Stains to any leftover pieces of muslin cut from the stamped panel.  Adhere with Gel Medium, embellishing with a lace rose.

Until next time,

Lynne

  7. As wordpress does not allow me to comment on your blog, Lynne (no matter how I log in), I leave my comment over here: this is wonderful! I find Lynne Perella stamps rather difficult to use and you have done them justice! Your make captures that special look and feel that is to her designs! Awesome job!
