Alice in Wonderland Altered Notebook by Mandy C

Distress Inks ~ Stormy Sky and Mustard Seed
Small notebook to alter (can pick up cheaply in supermarkets)

Make a Distress ink wrinkle-free background using the Stormy Sky and Mustard Seed on your paper. Dry. Choose which piece you would like to use as a background on your notebook. Adhere to the front cover of the notebook using D/S tape and trim so it fits neatly on.

Stamp the script onto the background using saffron Archival ink. Then lightly use the cutlery from the TH set and Cornflower Blue to add some texture/interest to the background. Add a border around the notebook using the Distress paint. Set to one side.

·       Stamp out one of the Alice’s from the Illustrated Alice set as well as the Alice words, plus the teapot from the Wonderland set. Cut out and colour with watercolour pencils.

·       Position all your cut out images onto the notebook before adhering with the Cosmic Shimmer glue.

·       (I added some old book page as I had cut the backing paper too small, however, I didn’t really need to as the teapot covered it).

·       Add your 3 hearts using the stamp from the Illustrated Alice set and the red geranium Archival ink.

·       Edge using the blue iris chalk ink.

·       Set with spray varnish if desired.
