With Love, From Me To You by Lynne Moncrieff

This week I am sharing another heart with you, this time an MDF heart from the IndigoBlu ornaments pack. This is a good value pack containing six ornaments.

Supplies

PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Satin Glaze and Pearl Glaze
Extras:- lace, pearl, old French book text, MOP mini heart button

Instructions

Prepare the MDF heart with Gesso.  Then apply Vintage Lace.

Select the largest ornate stamp from With Love and stamp with Gray Flannel onto both sides. Heat set.

Apply Pearl Glaze to both sides. Leave to dry.

Edge the heart with lace, folding over the lace onto the face of side two (see photograph).

Thread lace through the hole to form a hanging, attaching a pearl bead to the lace.

Side One:-

Rip a piece of vintage lace and adhere to the heart with Gel Medium.

Apply Vintage Lace to old French book text. Stamp the heart and then apply Satin Glaze.

Sew mini heart button to the stamped heart then adhere to the MDF heart with Gel Medium.

Side Two:-

Stamp scroll and love onto the painted book text. Apply Satin Glaze.

Adhere love to stamped scroll.

Adhere to the MDF heart with Gel Medium.

Until next week.

Lynne
