Curiouser and Curiouser Arch by Mandy C

White Pen

·       Take your Tando arch, remove the frame. Paint the entire thing with Weathered Wood. Blend into the background with kitchen roll. Then add some Broken China into the centre and blend into the Weathered Wood with the same piece of kitchen roll. Dry with a heat tool.

·       Add some Vintage Photo through the spinning tops template. Dry with a heat tool.

·       Take your script stamp and add some Crushed Olive paint with it. This adds texture. Then use the Grey StazOn to add the script again in different places. Dry.

·       Stamp your Alice and Curiouser stamp with Archival ink onto the stamping card. Colour with watercolour pencils and cut out.

·       Place your washi tape along the bottom of the arch. Adhere Alice using Cosmic Shimmer Glue.

·       Once I had done this I felt the top left corner was missing something so I used the Grey StazOn and the pocket watch from the Wonderland set and half stamped the image into the top left corner and bottom right. It added some interest.

·       Glue your words into place after edging with chalk ink.

·       Stamp some diamonds using the Black Archival ink.

·       Using a brush add some highlights of copper PanPastel. The edges of my stamped diamonds weren’t dry so have picked the pastel up very nicely. Add some white gel pen highlights.

·       Edge the arch with the chalk ink and then with the black Archival. Set to one side and begin on your frame.

·       Paint the paint with Distress Picket Fence to begin with. Edge both sides of the frame with the chalk ink. Add some bits of blue watercolour, run into the white. Finally add some edging with the black Archival. (grunges it up a bit)

·       Put pieces together.
