The Robin Wears the Crown by Carol Fox

I have a crown to share with you this week. It ties in with the Gift Box using the same stamps that I have printed in this months Craft Stamper magazine.

This is what I did

·       Cut a piece of A4 Kraft card in half long ways, use this to cut your crown shape from.

·       Join the two pieces together to make one long length. Using a piece of Cut and Dry Foam, apply paint through the stencil to one side of your piece of card.

·       Cut four circles approximately 8.5cm in diameter out of Kraft card, and stamp your robin image onto each of these and colour in.

·       Attach these as shown, joining your crown to make a circle before attaching the last one.

·       Trim the circles level with the bottom of the crown.

·       Die cut a strip of trim using the Decorative Edge die and glue this to the bottom edge.

·       Paint your stars with the gold paint and when dry cover with gold Stickles.

·       Once dry glue to the crown points.

I used

PaperArtsy: Fresco Paint: London Bus, Gold
Sizzix: Tim Holtz Dies: Rosette, Decorative Strip
Tando: Grab Bag – Stars
Brown Kraft Card or use packaging
Derwent Inktense Pencils
