Well this tag using the pretty Blazing Poppies stamp by IndigoBlu is my last project as guest designer for October…….been fun to join you all for a month……..thanks for having me!

1.    Apply a few small blobs of Distress Paint onto your craft sheet and spritz with some water, take a piece of white card and use it to pick up the colour. Add some more water to what’s left and reapply to card if necessary once happy with the result dry with a heat gun.

2.    Choose an area you like from the background you have just created and cut yourself a tag.

3.    Using Black Soot Distress ink, very lightly shade the edges of the tag. Then stamp the poppies direct to tag, and colour with ProMarkers. The ProMarkers will cover the paint but will still allow some of the background colour to show through.

4.    Stamp the Poppies again onto a white piece of card and again colour with ProMarkers. Cut out the flowers and the leaves and apply to base image with foam pads or silicone glue to give a little extra dimension.

5.    Stamp the sentiment onto a scrap from the background sheet you created earlier, cut out and edge with black ink. Apply to your tag in a position of your choosing.

To finish, punch a hole, add an eyelet and some ribbon.
