Apothecary Shoppe by Mandy C

3d Foam Pads

·       Cut a piece of card 5 inch squared. Using your cobweb mask and the sprays, create a background. Be careful with the black, you only want a tiny bit of that on it.

·       Whilst the background is drying, stamp your images out using the Archival ink, as they are ‘photo’ stamps it’s more advisable to use VersaFine black. However, I always have Archival on hand. I stamped out Dr Coffin, the lady, 2 long bottles, 1 short bottle, cat, set of teeth and the apothecary word. Colour using the watercolour pencils. Cut out.

·       Once the background is fully dry, (give it a blast with your heat tool if necessary) arrange the images to fit on the background.

·       Adhere into place once you are happy with the placement. I’ve used 3d foam on the middle bottle and also the ‘apothecary’ word.

·       Using Crackle Accents, add crackle to the teeth, and then the poison labels on the bottles as well as the cats eyes. The effect of the crackle accents works really well with the hallowe’en theme.

·       Finally, edge with the chalk ink.
