A Christmas Wish by Lynne Moncrieff

This week I  am sharing the first of my Christmas/Winter themed projects.

SUPPLIES
7”x5” Canvas Panel
Tim Holtz Ornate Frame
Tim Holtz Tissue Tape
Tim Holtz Charm Clip with jump ring
Crystal Glass Glitter (substitute with any glitter)
Golden Glass Bead Gel
PaperArtsy Fresco Nougat and Vintage Lace
Cream Lace
Crop-A-Dile
Extras:- Snowflake decoration, wax paper, vintage French book text and sheet music, vintage lace, gauze,

INSTRUCTIONS

Adhere vintage sheet music to canvas panel and then apply a wash of Gesso. Once dry apply molding paste using the Crafty Individuals Elegant Swirls Stencil/Mask. Whilst wet apply glass glitter. Randomly apply Glass Bead Gel to edges of panel. Punch holes in panel with Crop-a-dile.

Stamp image from Oxford Impressions Christmas Wish onto painted book text and edge with glass glitter. Stamp Wish onto scrap piece of painted text. Apply Gesso and glass glitter to an Ornate Frame to frame the word Wish. Treat the Trinket Pin in the same way as the Ornate Frame. Attach a Charm Clip and jump ring to attach to a snowflake decoration.

Create a collage on the panel by gathering the supplies along with the stamped focal and the framed word. Attach the Trinket Pin with snowflake to vintage lace. Adhere to top corner of panel. Finally thread some creamy lace through the holes in the top of the panel to form a Christmas/Winter hanging.

Until next time.

Wishes,

Lynne
