Who’s Watching You Now By Fliss Goodwin

Hi there, I have a very simple creation for you this week, which would have been a one layer card if I hadn’t decided it looked better with a narrow black border. The spray inks have come out to play again and I wanted to use a fabulous Andy Skinner stencil that has sat in my craft stash for a while.

Here’s What You Need:

Black Paper

Here’s How To:

·       First make the coloured background by cutting a piece of watercolour paper to fit your chosen card blank. Mist with a little water until damp and then spray with the Mr Huey mists using the yellow first and adding just a little red. Dry with a heat gun and iron flat if necessary.

·       Use masking tape to attach the stencil over the inked square and sponge the sapphire ink through with a sponge until well covered. Allow to dry.

·       Stamp the text image on the left upper side of the paper with the Majestic Blue ink. Then add the silhouette mask the comes with the stencil and stamp the flourish border at the bottom of the paper with the red ink. You’ll need to stamp part of the flourish a second time if your card blank is 6x6 like mine.

·       Mat the decorated paper on black to leave a narrow border and add to the card blank.

Have a lovely weekend.

  3. I love this, Fliss - such a vibrant card, and so dramatic with that strong black against the fiery background. I think the border was a great decision.
