Journal Page by Carol Fox

It’s Thursday again, so it’s my turn on the blog, I cannot believe it has been a week, it just seems to have flown by. This week I have a journal page to share with you.

This is what I did

·       Apply Grunge Paste through your stencil to your blank page, apply it in  2/3 places on each of the two pages, leave a central area on the two pages ungrunged. Let it dry.

·       Spritz lightly with water.

·       Spray with 3 colours of ink, dry, spritz with water to blend and dry again.

·       Spray with White Linen, dry.

·       Seal with Multi Medium or similar.

·       Add Treasure Gold to the Grunge Paste areas on the page.

·       Cut the canvas into the shapes you want,  I used die cut circles.

·       Colour your canvas with ink by first spritzing with water and then spraying with your inks. Heat dry. Use the three tags to mop up any colour left on your craft mat.

·       Stamp lines onto the circles for journaling.

·       Lay them on your page, when you're happy with their position glue down, edge with black pen.

·       Use black paint and a bottle lid to stamp circles.

·       Stamp, colour and cut out your images, stick in place.

·       Edge the page with black paint, and add hand drawn lines.

·       Lay your tags on the back of the decorated page and draw round them, apply glue around the drawn areas and stick this page to the corresponding blank page in your book

·       Decorate your tags adding ribbon and brads, insert into the pockets.

I used

Dylusions Rubber Stamps: Ruby Rainbow, Between the Lines
PaperArtsy: Number Stamp
Treasure Gold
Scraps of Ribbon
3 Buttons and 3 Brads

See you next week,
