A Card ~ Last of the Summer Sun by Mandy C

What I used:

Square Card Blank
Scraper (I use an old bank/phone card)
Cosmic Shimmer Orange Mist and Blue
Alphabet Stencil

·       Take an A4 piece of card, scrape some acrylic paint over it ~ I’ve used turquoise and yellow. Once dry, use your alphabet stencil and spray through it with an orange spray and then a blue one. Dry the background. Use the clock mask next and spray through with a blue colour. Dry.

·       Once the background is dry, select which ‘piece’ of the background you’d like to use and cut a square slightly smaller than your card blank. Edge with chalk ink.

·       On a piece of stamping card, stamp using Archival, the beach hut, the girls, the pier ticket, bathing beauties from the ‘boardwalk’ set and the hot air balloon from the ‘Paris Exposition’ set.

·       Colour with watercolours. Once dry, cut out. Glue the girls onto a piece of black card and cut around. This will lift the girls so they stand out a little more. Position all your images onto the card to see where you want them and then glue down.

·       Take your circle mask and your yellow Distress paint and make spots onto your card (I’ve done this as it seemed a little bare in places). This adds a bit of interest.

·       Finally, glue the background onto the card blank.
