Fly Away by Paula Whittaker

Supplies

Distress Paint – Picked Raspberry; Salty Ocean; Mustard Seed
8x8 White Card Blank

·       I stamped one of the Lynne Perrella face images twice on to two different scraps of painted card, stamped the banner on to another scrap of card (all scraps coloured using Distress Paints), cut out parts of the image and one of the banner shapes and then decided where I would place them on to the card.

·       Stamp the Mini 72/Splatter design using Distress ink in Picked Raspberry.

·       Arrange and adhere the stamped/cut out images on to the card, as shown.

·       Colour the numbers and letters using the Distress Paints. Once dry adhere to card.

·       Finally, add a Chitchat sticker word.

  1. Lovely card Paula. It looks really fresh ...think it may be the colours against the large white space.

  2. Just my sort of card 9as in admire, not make - I'm too messy). Those alpha parts look so good with the brighter distress colours painted on. Love it!

  9. So simple and effective. Whenever I try minimalist style I end up almost over collage the background.
