Dream Altered Mousetrap by Mandy C

A new mousetrap (from local hardware shop) Remove all the bits of torture from it leaving the trap which will act as a holder for notes.

Vintage book page to tear pieces off
Mister Huey Calico Shine ~ Pearlescent Mist

·       Firstly, using your vintage page tear pieces off to cover the holes left by the bits you’ve removed.

·       Paint the mouse trap with the Mowed Lawn, Broken China and Chipped Sapphire Distress paints. Blend together. Spray with the Mister Huey spray. Leave to dry.

·       Stamp one of the butterflies from the ‘Tigerlily’ set of Kaisercraft stamps onto some card and colour and cut out.

·       Stamp using the script stamp from the ‘Ageing Beautifully’ set of stamps and Forest Moss.

·       Stamp using the Olive Archival ink and one of the feathers around the top and bottom edges of the mousetrap. Dry.

·       Stamp the word ‘Dream’ from the sentiment set onto the mousetrap in the bottom part of the trap so you can see the word.

·       Glue the butterfly in position.

·       Using Crackle Accents to go over the word to make it stand out a bit more.

  1. Let's save the mice, one trap at a time! A seriously cool noteholder Mandy.

  2. This is a fabulous make - I love it.
